Terrain all the way!
By GRATEFUL! | on Friday, November 20, 2020
This is our second Terrain. The first one saved my husband's life. He hit a tree headon and came out with just a broken leg. The airbags did their job. The vehicle I drove before was a Jeep Cherokee LE. I currently have a Terrain SLE. I did sacrifice some luxuries for the Terrain but the look of the black edition makes it worth it. I have had comments that we paid alot more for the vehicle than we actually did. It handles well and I would definitely buy another so far.… - 5.0
SURPRISINGLY SATISFYING!
By Mountainguy | on Wednesday, December 26, 2018
While I haven’t had this new Terrain very long yet, I find its size “just right” for 1 to 4 or 5 folks in city, small town and freeway driving. The Denali 2 liter turbo with AWD and traction control is great in all kinds of weather. Comfortable as can be. I LOVE THE DENALI GRILL!!! That, along with the high level of trim and outside light design and trim makes it feel like I’m driving a piece of jewelry. I don’t drive long-distance all that much since retirement, so gas mileage isn’t a big factor for me. The amazing variety of tech takes a while to learn... and the push-button gear selection takes some getting used to, but when you do, it becomes second nature... I love the “L” option allowing driver to shift to whichever of the 9 gears he needs. Great camera system for virtual 360º views, proximity warnings, driver’s seat vibrates and windshield blinks bright red to warn of cars , objects or people entering the car’s “personal” space. Overall length is a few inches shorter than the Mazda CX7 I traded in... so a bit more room in the garage. Very adequate and adaptable cargo space. Tire pressure readings on all four wheels with specific lbs/per read-outs. Nice large nav screen with good infotainment selection. Kick-open rear hatch, nice! Self-regulating high beams... heated front and rear seats with separate heating controls... I could go on and on... but bottom line for me is, the price for the Denali is high, but in the end, I thionk it is worth it, despite what some naysayers seem to think.… - 5.0

By Sonny | on Monday, May 21, 2018
LIKE THE COMBINED MPG WHICH HAS BEEN 29.5 CITY AND HIGHWAY, VERSUS SUV I OWNED WAS 24.5 MPG COMBINED CITY, HIGHWAY. TERRAIN IS 5 MPG BETTER.ON MONTHLY DRIVING 1,700 MILES A MONTH THE TERRAIN FUEL FOR MONTH IS 57.6 GAL. WHILE OTHER SUV 69.6 GAL. ALMOST 12 GALLONS SAVED A MONTH THATS EQUAL TO 1 LESS TANK OF GAS USED A MONTH. FAIR AMOUNT SAVINGS PER MONTH.…
